Commenting on the decision of Israeli, Minister of Agriculture, severing agricultural relations with the Gaza Strip,

Prof. / Mohammed Ramadan Aga Palestinian Minister of Agriculture

Warns of a humanitarian and environmental catastrophe unprecedented in the Gaza Strip.

The Decision of Israeli Agriculture Minister, threatens the lives of people, it is a criminal deliberate, and aimed at destroying the infrastructure of the Palestinian agricultural sector, which has worked under Israeli siege valve either to provide food for about a million and a half people in the Gaza Strip.
This resolution seeks to return the Gaza Strip to the pre-historic eras, foreshadowing a state of hunger and death unprecedented in the world.

The manifestations of famine has become very clear now, and the international organizations working in the framework of the United Nations, civil society organizations and all human rights organizations to stand in front of their responsibilities, and also are invited to come to Gaza to read the reality, and see the truth.
The Palestinian agricultural sector monopolized by Israel, 1967 to  2008, are not allowed to import or export any of agricultural product, except through the Israeli crossings
They worked as centers to control the political, security and economy, to kill any chance of Palestinian independence or sovereignty on its territory, and to prevent any contact of Palestinians with the Arab world, and benefit from, in any direction walks of life political, economic or social. We ask for this, that Israel was occupying state, and therefore it must abide by and bear the responsibility and consequences of what is going on, or we are free and therefore have the right to contact Arabic countries and others, as a free independent people, free from arbitrary restrictions and ethnic cleansing carried out by the occupying power.
